The 2018 Titus Sauvignon Blanc was harvested on September 4th from our Titus Ranch Estate Vineyard. This stellar wine sings no matter the occasion and has polished aromas of lemon lime, pear, peach skin and plumeria. The wine is round and crisp on the palate with bright acidity and grapefruit pith, Asian fruit cocktail, cut hay and lychee notes. The finish is bright with a bit of lemon curd that lingers pleasantly until your next sip.
In 2018 Blue Rock Estate was blessed with perhaps the best overall vintage offering a wonderful opportunity to tell their story through their exceptional wines. This Sauvignon Blanc is 80% fermented in stainless steel at very cold temperatures to preserve delightfully fresh and exotic aromas of lychee fruit, guava and lemongrass, plus an alluring note of wet- stone, all complimented by honeysuckle and tangerine from a splash of Viognier in the final blend. The remaining 20% was barrel fermented at warmer temperatures, producing a beautiful texture to envelop the vibrant acidity and make for a balanced and richly satisfying sip from start to finish.
The Corley’s have been growing Chardonnay in the Oak Knoll District for almost 50 years. Building on this rich history, their Chardonnay is fermented in both French oak and stainless steel. The stainless tank fermentations tend to run cooler, resulting in a brighter style wine. The barrel lots ferment a little warmer, and with the oak contact and increased surface contact with the yeast, tend to have a fuller mouthfeel expression on the palate. Once combined this wine displays a rich golden tone, with brilliant clarity and aromas of golden apple, figs and ripe pear. These aromas integrate nicely with richer aromas of light caramel, truffle, and a nice compliment of toasted vanillin oak with an earthy tone. On the palate, this wine is rich and full on the attack, encompassed by a full-bodied creamy texture which leads seamlessly into the lingering finish.
This wine from the Oak Knoll district has been becoming increasingly popular by Pinot Noir enthusiasts. The fruit displays great purity and intensity, which translates quite well through to the finished product with great structure and balance. This Pinot Noir is expressive and appealing, bursting with richness and texture. It displays traditional aromas of strawberry, cola, cinnamon and hints of graham crackers on the nose. Ripe red berry flavors are balanced by light vanilla oak notes that translation into a deep finish of dark berry fruit.

Located at the base of Howell Mountain along the Silverado Trail in the heart of St. Helena, Titus is represented by their flagship Cabernet Sauvignon with impressive character and balance. Their 40 acres of family owned soil is well drained, sandy, alluvial soils produce focused fruit flavors, integrated acids, and naturally balanced tannins in their wines. This Jefferson Cuvee displays the plushness of fruit and tannins that comes from their vineyard. The wine pops out of the glass with dried cherry, plum, cigar box and ground coffee aromas. The palate is rich with concentrated pomegranate, French plum, mocha, fresh herbs and spice that holds through the round mid-palate. The fine tannins and fresh acid deliver a bright fresh body that finishes with long notes of dark chocolate, baking spices and currant.
Titus created Andronicus as the perfect blend of the five Bordeaux grapes that together form a dynamic wine and mouthwatering value. Bright crisp Merlot adds herbed cherry fruit notes and silky texture, red currant spiced Malbec provides aromatic lift, and the Petite Verdot gives the wine a dark spice bite in the finish along with the Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc. Together this wine portrays aromatics of concentrated raspberry, chocolate dust and crushed flower petals followed by a flavor profile of spiced fruit, raspberry compote and hints of vanilla and crème brulee. Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico area, current owner Guido Serio acquired the property in 1983 and developed the eleventh century farm into a winery according to modern standards. With the focus on the production of quality well balanced wines Cerviolo Bianco is guaranteed to refreshyour summer palate. The wine shows notes of ripe fruit, tropical hints, vegetal scents and final decidedly mineral. The taste is fresh fruit along with good structure and a soft pleasant finish. With only 7000 bottles produced, this wine pairs well with fresh fish and suitable f or white meats, as well as a welcome pause f or a nice drink with friends on the patio.
Domaine de Blais is an ancient Roman estate located on the limestone foothills between the Mediterranean Sea and the Alps. This Rosé is the only wine produced at the winery. The wine has inviting aromas of red currants, raspberries, and melon. Soft fully rounded texture caresses the palate. Pure fruit flavors from start to finish. Wine-maker Franco Bernabei is a brilliant specialist in the production of quality Rosé wine. This Rosé is clean and pleasing, with hints of cherry, plum and raspberry followed by aromas of pomegranate, blueberry and cyclamen. This crisp wine is well balanced with a persistent finish full of cherry, blueberry and plum flavors.
Michel Gonet covers 40 hectares of the best champagne soil from Epernay Grand Cru villages of Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil sur Oger to the hillsides of Sezannes to Vindey. The characteristically chalky soil combined with the exceptional climate of being protected by the mountain of Reims from the cold North winds and rainfalls in the Marne valley develop the finest Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes used in this wine. Michel Gonet’s daughter Sophie, president of the Women Winegrowers of Champagne, is currently at the helm creating this beautiful wine with the objective to improve the quality of the winemaking. This Brut Reserve Champagne has a sharp, precise nose of lemon zest, white plum, and flint. The palate has a broad and expansive texture balanced by bright acid and shows notes of yellow apple, persimmon, apple blossom and toasty brioche. With a blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay this wine is soft, creamy and ready to drink.
Since the Roman times the village of Laudun has grown vines that spill from the rocky slopes onto the picturesque river plains in between the villages. The Pelaquie family has been cultivating vines here since the mid 1500’s protecting this cultural legacy with love, keeping the familial footprint intact via some of the most elegant wines that you will find in this area. This deep red wine featuring Syrah and Grenache grapes boosts cocoa notes, ripe fruits and licorice scent. The palate is long and generous with silky tannins ideal with roasted and stewed meats.
Founded in 1985, the Cave de Ribeauville is the oldest cooperative in France. Harvested by hand this vineyard rests on the hillside of the famous geological fault of Ribeauville which offers an incredible diversity in soils which adds to the complexity of this wine. This Pinot Blanc has an intense nose with beautiful floral aromas that announce the freshness of the mouth. It is a well-structured and tastefully balanced dry wine that will entice the palate.
Since 1977, Wild Hog has been making wine with a very simple view of allowing the fruit to speak for itself. Their wine making practices follow the traditional ways. The highest quality grapes are organically grown and picked by hand. The wine is aged in small oak barrels and since they do not filter, the wine is racked two or three times during its time in the barrel allowing the full flavor to be extracted. From there 37 year old certified organic vineyard five miles from the ocean in the hills above Fort Ross this delightful estate grown zinfandel spends 12 months in small American oak barrels and is not filtered which deepens the flavor profile. Dark berries profile this smooth, rich full-bodied wine with a warm friendly long finish with spicy pepper notes.
Wild Hog Vineyard is a small family owned and operated winery and vineyard in the hills between Cazadero and Fort Ross on the Sonoma Coast. The owners, Daniel and Marion Schoenfeld, have transformed the rugged mountain property into a beautiful vineyard where the hot days and cool nights of the coastal range, in conjunction with their farming practices, produces intense flavorful grapes. This vintage developed into a wine that is full- bodied, smooth and rich. Right out of the bottle it portrays deep dark fruit and a bright
nose. If you allow it to breathe for an hour or more, the wine really opens up to become smooth and round.
Black Chicken stands as the ultimate expression of Zinfandel from the cool southern Napa Valley and perhaps the most famous icon of Napa Valley Zinfandel in general. The Oak Knoll Wine growing region is prevalent in this wine with its ripe aromatics and juicy acidity. The nose is full of vibrant Bing cherries, raspberries, cinnamon, white cake, fresh purple flowers, subtle dried herb and toasty brown spices. The entry is bright and gives way to supple, round tannins. The lovely finish is the signature of this elegant and remarkably balanced Zinfandel that is immediately drinkable and worthy of 5 to 7 more years of cellar time.
Located in southern Monterey, where its proximity to the bay and Pacific breezes create the perfect environment for this cool climate variety. The grapes picked early in the morning and immediately delivery to the winery for pressing. The wine is aged on its lees for less than six months to increase complexity and to enrich the mouthful. The finish wine has a beautiful bright golden straw hew with aromas of golden apple and honey with hints of lemon and caramel. The palate is full-bodied with compelling flavors of apple, pear, tuberose and caramel leading to a delightfully creamy finish.
The fruit was selected from two of their estate vineyards in Paso Robles, Huerhuero and Creston Valley. Both of these vineyards produce Cabernet Sauvignon with an overall balance of expressive flavors and structure. After 8 months of aging and extensive blending trials, a bit of Petit Verdot was added to enhance the structure. The final blend was then aged in barrels for an additional 12 months to fully integrate and develop before bottling. The finish wine has aromas of cassis, dark cherries, licorice and cedar with hints of blueberries and mocha. This full bodied wine fills the mouth with cassis and dark fruit, mocha notes and chewy textured tannins.
The Arborist pays homage to the iconic Paso Robles oak trees. This estate blend is made mainly of varieties grown in their Huerhuero Vineyard, located directly behind the winery in the rolling hills. Warm afternoons and cool evening breezes shepherd the grapes to perfect ripeness. The wine is aged for 18 months in oak barrels creating aromas of cherries and plums with hints of juniper berry, fine tobacco and chocolate. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied displaying dark stone fruits, soft textured tannins that linger long through the finish.
Located in the heart of the Entre-Deux Mers region in the rolling hills between the Garonne and the Dordogne rivers this chateau grows Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon grapes to produce this exquisite wine. The land is mainly gravel and limestone which generates a wine with fresh citrus, honeydew flavors with hints of cream and salinity. This wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel to maximize freshness and to develop a delicious thirst quenching and very quaffable wine.

Located in the southwest of France, the wines from Cahors have been famous since the Roman Empire. The Chateau Haute-Theron was built after the French revolution in 1789, in the hills overlooking the 74 acre 100% Malbec vineyard. With a southern exposure and limestone soils this winery creates a powerful red wine that nicely fills your mouth with highlights of mint and terrific juiciness of blackberry, plum and black cherry
The Lauverjat family has been growing grapes in Sancerre for generations in the tiny village of Sury-en-Vaux. With their farming techniques and clay filtration system the result is a classic medium weight wine that strikes a perfect balance of citrus and melon. This Sancerre expresses clearly its aromas of white flowers and citrus fruits and lingers long on the palate. The dominant fresh mouth holds true to its terroir and pairs particularly well with oysters, salmon and poultry
This family owned winery produces wine with grapes grown exclusively from their own vineyards with the focus on quality and sustainability. Casa Boschino is create with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes and aged in a combination of steel tanks and wood. This process creates a cuvee that offers plenty of substance in the mouth marked by flavors of cassis, black olives and licorice note.
This classic Chianti is developed with 90% Sangiovese and is aged for 12 months in wood. The family oversees all operations including the careful selection of the grapes in the field and in the cellar. This combination has produce a wine that is bright and acidity with supple tannins and full-bodied with plenty of plum, black cherry and blackberry flavors. There is also notes of cedar, dried herbs, fennel, balsamic and tobacco. This wine pairs with traditional Tuscan dishes of red and white meat, and fresh and medium-old cheese.
This wine is the flag ship of the San Fabiano Calcinaia winery produced from the best blocks of Sangiovese grapes grown at the estate’s highest point about 1500 feet above sea level. This Chianti maintains a red ruby very intensive color with high violet tones and orange nuances that increase with the age, fine, intensive, very persistent perfume, with an aromatic complexity from violet and cherry tones to spices like liquorice and pepper, until vanilla, cacao, tobacco flavors. This wine has a strong structure at the mouth with a warm, enveloping, soft and elegant complex tannic structure with a very long final taste.
Petite Sirah is even darker and can be even more full-bodied than Syrah. The two grapes are related but different. Petite Sirah has always been a California winemaker’s favorite secret weapon or magic wand for beefing up and filling out red wines that sometimes could use a boost – including Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. The Royal Punishers has a deep, blackish blue color profile. Aromas of dusty currants, blueberry, quince, violets, figs, molasses, graphite and baked rye. The entry is weighty with a broad mid-palate structure which has layers of ripe, black fruit flavors. The oak profile is balanced and the tannins are mouthwatering and medium grained which hold the fruit profile and carry a long, lingering finish.
The “first Rosé of France,” famous since the 10th century. Tavel wines were present on the Pope’s table when the papacy was located in Avignon in the 14th century. Hand harvested grapes of Grenache and Cinsault create a smooth, generous and fruity nose with an amber shaded color for a wine with incredible intensity.
This is one of the best up and coming wineries in the area located on the old Villa Maria estate with vineyards next door to Silver Oak and Seghesio’s Home Ranch. Kenny and Cheryl Kahn purchased the estate in 1987 and have spent 33 years renovating the original winery and estate cottage, as well as establishing winemaking and production facilities with the singular vision of creating a world-class winery. The name Blue Rock originates from the soil studded with blue pebbles, rocks and boulders of serpentine which contributes to the unique flavor and aromatic profile of the wines. This Cabernet is very aromatic with notes of mint, blueberry and black fruits. Deep flavors of black cherry are balanced with well-endowed, but fine tannins that lead to an excellent balanced and persistent finish. It is very approachable and ready for either consumption today or long term cellaring.
The Lauverjat family has been growing grapes in Sancerre for generations in the tiny village of Sury-en-Vaux. Husband-and-wife team Christian and Karine have 12-hectares of vines in Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume. In the past, they always sold off the grapes to other producers, but decided eventually that it was sad to work so hard all year in the vineyards and then not be able to enjoy the fruit of their labor. They have made improvements over the years, including a transition to sustainable viticulture. In the cellar the whites are made in thermo-regulated tanks and the reds are made in large wooden conical tanks. Several years ago, they invested in a new clay filtration system that allows them to very gently filter the wines without stripping them of their character. The result is a classic, medium weight Sancerre that strikes a perfect balance of citrus and melon. The wines from Lauverjat undoubtedly represent some of the best values to be had from the appellation. This salmon-colored 100% Pinot Noir beauty has enticing aromas of wild strawberries and the classic mineral backbone that typifies the wines of Sancerre. This rosé goes well with starters such as pâté, cured or grilled meats, and white meat. It also pairs well with spicy dishes, Asian food and fresh pasta.
